Manny Machado Homers In Second Straight Game Friday
2 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado went 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks and three RBI in the team's 6-3 win over the San Francisco Giants on Friday. The home run was his 14th of the year and his second in as many days. The 30-year-old veteran has been playing at an elite level all season long. Over 74 games, he has hit .315/.390/.541 with 14 home runs, seven stolen bases, 50 RBI and 51 runs. He currently has a career-high .396 wOBA, which ranks in the 97th percentile of the majors.
