7 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Mallex Smith followed up a quiet Game 1 Saturday by having a wonderful last two innings of Game 2 versus the Orioles. In the final two innings of the game, he doubled and tripled. He would score twice while driving in three. Smith even stole third after his double for his ninth stolen base of the season. Smith has found himself in a good position to get consistent playing time, has a .397 OBP and is currently on pace to get 39 stolen bases this season. He has a place in most deep formats or AL-only setups.--Jamie Mellor
