Malik Nabers Says He's Playing In Week 7
1 month agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers (concussion) said he's ready to play in Week 7 against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday and is "very excited" to get back on the field after missing the last two games due to a concussion. "Every game is a big game to me," Nabers said. The first-round rookie sensation out of LSU was trending towards playing this weekend when he was officially cleared from the leagues concussion protocol on Thursday. Nabers' return is bad news for the fantasy upside of both Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton, who were seeing more targets in his absence the last few weeks, but it's great news for quarterback Daniel Jones. Nabers racked up an eye-opening 35 catches for 386 yards and three touchdowns in his first four NFL games and needs to be returned to all starting lineups for Week 7 immediately. UPDATE: Nabers was officially cleared to play in Week 7 on Sunday.
