4 months agoNew York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers hauled in seven receptions for 68 yards on 14 targets in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Despite leading the team in targets, Nabers could only secure half of them, averaging 9.7 yards per reception with a long of 21 yards. The inefficiency highlighted the struggles of Drew Lock under center, as the Giants' passing attack failed to generate consistent production. Nabers' 10.3 fantasy points were serviceable, but his ceiling remains capped in an offense plagued by quarterback inconsistency and an inability to sustain drives.--Danny Boily - RotoBaller

3 months agoNew York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (toe) has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 18 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The rookie wideout was a limited participant in practice each of the last two days. This was likely just the Giants monitoring Nabers' reps, so fantasy managers can expect him to be out there this weekend. He hauled in seven of his eight targets for 171 yards and two touchdowns during last week's win over the Indianapolis Colts. Fantasy managers can plug Nabers in as a WR1 against an Eagles defense that is resting most of their starters.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

3 months agoAccording to Dan Salomone of Giants.com, New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers (toe) logged a limited practice on Thursday. This is worth noting as Nabers was not on the injury report following Wednesday's initial practice session. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Nabers' status on Friday in case he faces another setback. The standout rookie carried a questionable tag into last weekend's game but was able to suit up. In this game, the LSU product set a season-high 171 yards with two touchdowns. Over his past six games, Nabers has seen at least eight targets in each contest and has even seen double-digit targets in four of them. If Nabers were to face a setback and be unable to play on Sunday, Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton would see an increase in targets against the Philadelphia Eagles.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

4 months agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers caught seven of his eight targets for 171 yards and two scores in their victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Nabers found the back of the end zone in the opening quarter on a 31-yard pass from Drew Lock. Then in the fourth quarter, Nabers tallied his second touchdown, this time on a 51-yard TD reception. Nabers' eight targets and 171 yards paced all New York pass catchers. In addition this set a new career-high in yards in a single game. This was also only the third time this season the LSU product tallied over 100 receiving yards in a single contest. Despite having poor quarterback play, Nabers has enjoyed a fantastic rookie season as he caught at least seven passes in nine of his 14 games with six total touchdowns. Nabers remains an elite play in DFS next weekend despite facing a tough Philadelphia secondary.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

4 months agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers (toe) is officially active for the Week 17 clash against the visiting Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Nabers missed a couple days of practice this week and was listed as questionable on the final injury report, but he was ultimately expected to play. The first-rounder out of LSU has dealt with a handful of nagging injuries in his first year in the NFL but has only missed two games due to a concussion. He will suit up on Sunday in a pretty good matchup, and even though quarterback Drew Lock is one of the worst starters in the league, Nabers needs to remain locked into all fantasy starting lineups. He has had double-digit targets in each of the last four games and has been a top-15 pass-catcher all year long. Nabers is second in the NFL in targets (154), behind only Ja'Marr Chase, who played on Saturday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
