Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk has been ruled out for the second half of Wednesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets due to a quad injury. Monk logged eight minutes in the first half, scoring two points while adding three assists and one rebound. Monk delivered a career-high 26-point performance against the Hawks on Sunday, unable to bottle the same magic this time around. His absence could lead to more minutes on the wing for Miles Bridges and Dwayne Bacon off the bench.--Jesse Borek

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's tilt against the Denver Nuggets. He injured his left calf on Monday against the Detroit Pistons and could be done for the rest of the regular season. Monk's early exit on Monday gave Devin Carter a spot in the rotation. He finished with seven points, two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 22 minutes. Carter will likely get a bump in minutes again on Wednesday night, but fantasy managers should not get too excited about this, as the 23-year-old struggled to fill the box score against the Pistons.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (illness) will return from a three-game absence on Thursday against the Trail Blazers. Sacramento has lost four-straight contests, so the Kings need to get it together if the team hopes to remain in the Play-In conversation. Fortunately, Monk, who has averaged a career-high 18.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.0 steals, will be back on the floor. However, his return means Keon Ellis, combining for 46 points in the last three games, will head back to the bench.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (illness) is listed as questionable for Thursday's contest against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has missed three games due to an illness, and it's uncertain whether Monk will be able to return on Thursday. Keon Ellis has delivered impressive performances as Monk's replacement in the starting lineup, averaging 15.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.0 steals. He will remain an intriguing fantasy option on Thursday if Monk is not feeling well enough to play.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Monk is set to miss his third game in a row due to a lingering illness. Before that, Monk was playing big minutes in the rotation with 32 minutes or more in his previous five games. His absence should mean Keon Ellis and Devin Carter see increased roles in the rotation. Neither are great streaming choices, but Ellis is the better option between the two for Tuesday's slate.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
