2 years agoSacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (ankle) stated he'll play on Thursday night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Head coach Mike Brown had already indicated Monk would be back after the All-Star break, so it appears the 25-year-old will return to the lineup after missing his previous two games because of a sprained right ankle. The former Kentucky Wildcat has played well this season, averaging 13.4 points in 22 minutes per game. Monk should reclaim his spot as the top option from off the bench, meaning Terence Davis, who had scored a combined 33 points in his last two appearances, will lose most of his fantasy appeal.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
