Malcolm Subban Earns Second Consecutive Start
4 years agoChicago Blackhawks goaltender Malcolm Subban will earn a second consecutive start for Saturday's battle with the Red Wings. The 25-year-old has seen minimal action this season, but he came in for Thursday's clash with Columbus and produced a 26-save shutout in a 2-0 win, so Chicago will ride the hot hand. Subban is 3-1-1 for the year with a 2.13 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage. It's a very favorable matchup for him, as Detroit is averaging only two goals per game for the season and they have managed just three wins from their last 16 visits to the Windy City.
