Malcolm Brogdon Cleared To Return For Friday’s Game
2 years agoBoston Celtics point/shooting guard Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) has been given the green light to get back into action for Friday's contest against the Pelicans. His return comes at a vital time, with Marcus Smart (ankle) ruled out. Brogdon had missed the previous four contests due to a tight right hamstring but he can be expected to step right back into a vital role for Boston, although it's unclear if he will slide into the starting five or stick with his familiar sixth man role. Through 11 games, Brogdon has played a career-low 23 minutes, which has caused his overall production to slide even as Boston has averaged a league-best 120.4 points per game.
