Magneuris Sierra Has Caught Fire
6 years agoMiami Marlins outfield prospect Magneuris Sierra has now hit safely in nine of his last 10 games for Triple-A New Orleans. Sierra has five multi-hit games over that stretch and has now raised his batting average to .256 after a poor start. Sierra was the main piece that the Marlins got in return for Marcell Ozuna this offseason and his success is big for the Marlins future. Sierra is now hitting .256 with two home runs and 13 RBI on the season. Sierra offers more contact than power in his swing and is a strong defender. Sierra is unlikely to have an impact in redraft leagues in 2018 and is worth keeping an eye on in dynasty leagues.
