Magneuris Sierra Gets His First RBI On Sunday
3 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Magneuris Sierra drove in his first run of the season in Sunday's win over the San Diego Padres. Sierra went 1-for-3 with a single, a run scored, and an RBI. According to Baseball Reference data, Sierra is the first position player of all time to appear in 78 games and receive over 61 at bats to start a season and not record an RBI. In his 131st at bat, he finally drove in a run. Sierra may get more playing time if the Marlins deal some of their outfielders before the trade deadline, but he's a defense and speed guy, making him fantasy irrelevant regardless of playing time.
