Madison Bumgarner Could Miss Next Start
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner is off to a horrendous beginning to the season. The left-hander was torched for seven runs over three innings of work during Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. He holds a 10.26 ERA, 2.40 WHIP and 10/15 K/BB ratio across four starts this season. Following Wednesday's game, manager Torey Lovullo said he isn't committing to Bumgarner making his next start. He continued by saying that he'll need to talk it over before making a decision. The 33-year-old might find his way into the bullpen if things don't start getting better for him on the mound.
