Mackenzie Hughes is never going to rate out well from a statistical standpoint. Over his last 36 rounds, the Canadian ranks towards the very bottom of this field in strokes gained off the tee, strokes gained approach, and proximity from 175-200 yards. There is not a single ball-striking category that Hughes is better than field average in. With that being said, the former RSM Classic winner has recorded top-15 finishes this season at both the U.S. Open and Open Championship. Hughes can get extremely hot with the putter, but that would really be the only avenue for him to contend. --Andy Lack
