2 years agoIn the main event's battle of a striker versus a grappler, the striker came out with a victory with Mackenzie Dern suffering a razor-thin majority decision loss (47-48, 47-48, 47-47). In 25 minutes of action, Dern landed 61 significant strikes and was out-struck by Yan Xiaonan, who landed 113 total strikes. When the bout was on the mat, it was a totally different contest with Dern locking in a few close-call submissions and dominating the control time.--Matt Bricker
