1 year agoNew England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones hasn't completed a pass over 20 air yards in over three weeks. The last time Jones connected on a deep throw was in the first quarter in the Week 5 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Since then, he's 0-for-3 on 20-plus air-yard throws, including the full game against the Buffalo Bills without a deep attempt. Jones is 4-for-23 on deep throws this year and has the lowest completion rate among 31 qualified QBs at 17.4 percent. It doesn't help that the Patriots just lost their leading receiver, Kendrick Bourne, for the season due to a torn ACL in his knee. Jones and the Pats offense has been downright bad at times this year, and he currently ranks as the QB31 in overall fantasy points heading into a Week 9 date with the Washington Commanders.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
