7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Luke Weaver had an excellent spring, posting a 0.55 ERA in Grapefruit League play. He struck out 19 in 16 1/3 innings, and posted a 0.67 WHIP. The young righty will start the third game of the season for the Cardinals and is a prime breakout candidate this season. He comes with some risk as do all young starting pitchers, but the upside is there for Weaver to be a difference maker in fantasy leagues this season.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
