Luke Voit Triples, Homers In Return From Injured List
3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit went 2-for-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Kansas City Royals. Voit quickly showed he was healthy, clubbing the first pitch he saw into the left-field seats for a solo homer. The blast traveled 423 feet at 109.8 MPH. He narrowly missed out on his second home run of the night later on in the game, settling for a triple. Voit hasn't been able to play much this season but is perfectly capable of performances like these, having produced a career .533 slugging percentage with New York. He should be able to provide a boost to fantasy managers' rosters the rest of the way.
