5 years agoThe New York Yankees activated first baseman Luke Voit (hernia) from the 10-day injured list on Friday and placed third baseman Giovanny Urshela (groin) on the injured list in a corresponding move. Voit has been out for a month due to a sports hernia, but he should return to an everyday role and a .278/.392/.493 slash line with 16 doubles, 19 home runs and 54 RBI on the season. Urshela leads all Yankees hitters with a .924 OPS and has been a pleasant surprise as a utility infielder while the team has dealt with a plethora of injuries in 2019. DJ LeMahieu should see most of the starts at the hot corner with Urshela out. He's played at an MVP level this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
