Luke Schoonmaker Dealing With Partial Plantar Fascia Tear
1 year agoDallas Cowboys rookie tight end Luke Schoonmaker (foot) said he is dealing with a partial tear to his plantar fascia, which is apparently a trickier injury to navigate through than a complete tear. However, the Michigan alum is remaining optimistic. "It's been good," said Schoonmaker. "I'm just taking a good pace." He hopes to resume practice in the next week or two. The second-round pick caught just 54 passes for 637 yards and seven touchdowns in 43 collegiate games, so it's hard to envision him being a productive receiver in his rookie campaign. Jake Ferguson should operate as the lead tight end for Dallas in 2023.
