Luke Raley Homers, Drives In Three Friday
4 months agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Luke Raley blasted his 12th home run of the 2024 campaign in Friday's 10-2 win over the Phillies, a three-run shot off starter Tyler Phillips in the second inning. That would end up being his only hit of the game, however, going 1-for-4 on the night. Raley's batting average was as high as .263 on June 23, but since then he's gone 14-for-91 (.154), bringing his season average down to .228. With a 31.4% K%, he may not be able to turn it around, but with 12 home runs and nine stolen bases, he may still be useful for fantasy in some deeper leagues, as he's also eligible at both 1B and OF. The 29-year-old finished last season with 19 home runs and 14 stolen bases in 118 games and looks to be on pace for that again this season.
