Luke Kennard Ruled Out For Third Straight Game
1 year agoMemphis Grizzlies guard/forward Luke Kennard (concussion) will remain out on Monday against the Mavericks. The NBA's most efficient three-point shooter from last season has had a very unfortunate start to the new campaign, as he was hit in the face in the team's season opener against New Orleans and landed in the concussion protocol because of it. He'll be absent for a third straight game on Monday. John Konchar has been the main beneficiary of Kennard's absence, averaging 26.5 minutes off the bench in the last two games. He's stood out with 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks, but fantasy managers have gotten only 3.5 points out of him. Konchar might get more joy offensively Monday night, as Vegas expects this to be a high-scoring game, with the total standing at 228.5 points.
