Luke Kennard Gets 21 Points Off The Bench
6 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard Luke Kennard continued his recent hot streak on Wednesday against the Timberwolves, producing 21 points and a game-high plus-29 rating in 29 minutes off the bench. He shot 8-for-16 from the field, including 3-for-7 from downtown. Kennard has stepped up big time lately, providing some good secondary scoring for the team. He's averaged 22 points per game this month in three outings, shooting a sizzling 60.9 percent from three-point land. The level is clearly unsustainable, but he might still keep it up for a while, especially with a pair of games against the Bulls coming up. Chicago are giving up 12.1 made three-pointers per game this season, which is one of the worst marks in the league.
