Luke Glendening Scores Twice Monday Night
4 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Luke Glendening was responsible for both of the team's goals in Monday's 3-2 shootout loss against Dallas, tying things up twice in the second period. Alex Biega registered assists on both goals. Robby Fabbri (upper body) missed an eighth straight game and Jakub Vrana (illness) was out, so Detroit needed somebody to step up on the offensive front and Glendening managed to do it. He was on only three goals for the season ahead of the contest, so don't expect the veteran to repeat the feat anytime soon. Glendening boasts 14 points for the year with 58 shots, 57 hits and 45 blocks in 45 games.
