Luka Doncic Ties Career-High Eight Assists
6 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard/small forward Luka Doncic finished with 15 points and eight assists during Saturday’s win over the Boston Celtics. The eight dimes tie his season best mark, while he also knocked down three triples, giving him six consecutive games with multiple three-pointers made. The 19-year-old has finished every game this season in double figures, but he did post a dubious first Saturday, failing to record a rebound for the first time all year. Consider that a minor blip on the radar moving forward for the Slovenian wunderkind.

Luka Doncic Listed As Questionable For Thursday
3 days agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Luka Doncic (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Thursday's marquee matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. Last weekend, Doncic battled a back problem, and he is now on the injury report with right ankle soreness. If Doncic is out on Thursday, Austin Reaves should run the backcourt, with Gabe Vincent and Jordan Goodwin stepping into more prominent roles. Both players enjoyed strong starts to the week, as Vincent scored a team-high 24 points in Monday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets, while Goodwin produced 17 points off the bench.

Luka Doncic Considered Questionable Monday Against Nets
6 days agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (back) is dealing with back soreness on Monday and has been listed as questionable for their matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. With LeBron James (groin) sidelined, Doncic will have to pull out all of the heroics that he displayed in Dallas. Through 11 games with the Lakers, he's averaging 24.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 4.1 turnovers per game. His efficiency may not be the same since changing teams, but his stats remain undeniably elite across the board. If he's unable to suit up, Austin Reaves will have to take on the scoring load while Dorian Finney-Smith and Dalton Knecht likely see huge bumps in usage.

Luka Doncic Available On Saturday
1 week agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (knee) will play on Saturday against Boston. He has a bruised knee. However, the Lakers have won their last eight contests, so it's hard to imagine Doncic would have missed a nationally televised game versus the defending champs. The 26-year-old had 32 points, 12 assists, seven boards, and four steals in Thursday's overtime win over the New York Knicks. The C's pose more of a challenge on the defensive end, but Doncic is still a must-start while remaining a top DFS option.

Luka Doncic Probable For Saturday Night
1 week agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (knee) is expected to suit up for Saturday's meeting with the Celtics. The Lakers have won eight-straight games, so the team can make a statement by taking out one of the best teams in the National Basketball Association on Saturday night. But Los Angeles will need Doncic in the lineup. Fortunately, he's likely good to go. The former Maverick is coming off a strong showing, compiling 32 points, 12 assists, seven rebounds, and four steals in Thursday's overtime victory over the New York Knicks. While the C's defense can make it challenging for Doncic to remain as productive on the scoring end, he always has triple-double upside whenever he is on the court. If he suffers a setback and doesn't play, LeBron James (left foot, injury management), who is probable, and Austin Reaves should pick up most of the slack on the offensive side of the ball.
