1 year agoMiami Marlins second baseman Luis Arraez said the team has not reached out to him about an extension yet, but he would be open to talking if they do. The batting champ made $6.1 million in 2023, his second year of arbitration. That figure could double in 2024. Arraez is under control through the 2025 season, so talks may not be right around the corner. The 26-year-old broke into the majors at the age of 22, so he will be an unrestricted free agent at 28, which should set him up for a nice payday.
