Luis Urias' Home Run Wins It For The A's In Extras
Luis Urias went 1-for-3 with a walk and a walk-off two-run home run in Sunday's 3-2 extra-innings win over the White Sox. It was the second consecutive game with a home run for the 27-year-old and the fourth straight game with a hit. Urias has taken over as the regular second baseman ever since Max Muncy was optioned on April 23 and has been making the most of his opportunities. For the season, the right-handed hitter is slashing .275/.348/.575 with four home runs and a 5:6 BB:K in 47 plate appearances. He'll get a chance to keep rolling on Monday as the A's take on the Rangers' Patrick Corbin, whom Urias is 5-for-13 off of lifetime, including one home run. Urias is usually a cheap DFS option and should be under consideration while he's hitting well.
