Luis Severino Will Throw Again Thursday
6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder) made 25 pitches at about 60 feet from flat ground on Wednesday for the first time since being diagnosed with right rotator-cuff inflammation. The right-hander said he felt no pain and will increase his throws to 50 on Thursday. Severino will miss at least the first month of the season, so that has negatively impacted his fantasy value to start 2019. When healthy, though, Severino proved last year that he's one of the best starters in baseball.
