Luis Severino Will Miss All Of April
6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder) won't be ready to make his season debut until at least May 1, according to general manager Brian Cashman. The right-hander has been out since March 5 with inflammation in his right rotator cuff. It's a big blow to the Yankees, as he's been an All-Star each of the last two seasons and won a career-high 19 games in 2018. Before the injury, Severino was rightfully being drafted as a fantasy ace. That'll now change with him set to miss at least the first month of the season.
