3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder, groin) will make another rehab start Friday. Severino pitched four perfect innings in his first rehab outing for Double-A Somerset, striking out five batters on 48 pitches. The Yankees will determine if the hard-throwing righty is ready to return to the rotation following Friday's rehab appearance. Severino is a worthy addition to fantasy teams for the stretch run, as he posted strikeout rates above 28 percent in each of his last two full seasons, tossing at least 190 innings in each. The Yankees are likely to go with at least a six-man rotation to be mindful of Severino's innings, though he can still be a steady contributor in the strikeout, ERA, and WHIP departments.--Tim Capurso
