Luis Severino Throws Live Batting Practice Monday
2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (lat) threw two innings of live batting practice Monday and is scheduled to do so again on Friday. Severino was placed on the 15-day injured list in late March with a right lat strain. Manager Aaron Boone indicated that Severino would likely be built up to 70-80 pitches before being activated. The 29-year-old has been a fantasy asset in the past but got hit hard this spring, allowing a 9.00 ERA in 15 innings pitched. Fantasy managers should be wary of Severino whenever he does return.
