Luis Severino Recovering From Tommy John Surgery
5 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (elbow) is reportedly progressing well from his offseason Tommy John surgery. Severino underwent the surgery in February, and if he can continue to progress without setbacks then he should be healthy for the start of the 2021 season. Severino is a fantasy ace when healthy with an impressive 3.13 ERA and a 4.53 K:BB over the past three seasons. Although sometimes portrayed as injury-prone, Severino had back-to-back seasons with more than 190 innings pitched before last season. Fantasy owners should expect Severino to miss at most a few weeks to start next season and draft him as a future ace in dynasty leagues as a result.
