Luis Severino Exits Rehab Start With Lower-Body Injury
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (elbow, lower body) exited his rehab start on Saturday with an apparent lower-body injury, according to Lindsey Adler of The Athletic. Adler reports that it appears to be an issue with his leg or ankle, after he had what appeared to be an awkward step on the mound in the second inning of his outing. There's no official word yet on how big a setback this could be, which could be disappointing news for managers who had been hoping for his return before the All-Star break.
