Luis Robert Jr. Dealing With A Quad Cramp
1 year agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (quad) missed Saturday's 10-0 loss against the Detroit Tigers due to a right quad cramp. He was initially in the starting lineup and became a late scratch. The 26-year-old will undergo further evaluation on Sunday. He is considered day-to-day for now, with his next chance to return to the lineup being Sunday for the series finale against the Tigers. Robert is having a terrific season, slashing .272/.324/.560 with 35 home runs, 71 RBI, 81 runs, and 17 stolen bases over 527 plate appearances. Gavin Sheets replaced him in Saturday's contest and went 0-for-3. Sheets would see an increase in playing time if Robert were to miss any time.
