Luis Robert Goes 3-For-4 With A Homer On Thursday
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert had a fantastic day at the plate in the team's 7-4 win over the Kansas City Royals on Thursday. He went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. The 24-year-old slugger has been dominant at the plate in May. He's slashing .380/.429/.521 so far this month with three home runs, 11 RBI and 13 runs. His strong start to the year is heavily supported by his gaudy underlying statistics. He has a .336 xBA (98th percentile) and a .621 xSLG (96th percentile). He's also shown the best plate discipline of his career with a 15.4% strikeout rate, down from last year's 20.6% clip.
