3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert was removed in the eighth inning of Thursday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. The specifics of the injury are unclear at this point, but White Sox beat writer Daryl Van Schouwen reports that Robert appeared to tweak something - potentially his leg - while running out a grounder in the eighth. Following Robert's injury, Danny Mendick entered the game. Robert was 2-for-4 with a double prior to leaving the game to take over in left field while Adam Haseley shifted to center field.
