Luis Robert Diagnosed With Right Hip Flexor Strain
4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (hip) has been diagnosed with a right hip flexor strain, according to The Athletic. Robert exited Sunday's game in the first inning after beating out an infield single and then collapsing to the ground in pain. He had to be helped off the field, and was unable to put weight on his leg while leaving. X-rays came back negative, and he will undergo more testing on Monday. This is some slightly good news for Robert, as initially it seemed the injury could have been lower in the leg. There's still a good chance Robert will spend some time on the injured list, but there's no word yet as to how long he may be out.
