Luis Perdomo Starting Wednesday, Tyson Ross Bumped
7 years agoReturning from a five-game suspension, San Diego Padres starting pitcher Luis Perdomo will start Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This will shift starter Tyson Ross' start to Friday at the Arizona Diamondbacks. Before the suspension, Perdomo held a 4.91 ERA and 2.09 WHIP. With speculation that his job was at risk, Perdomo appears safe now with pitcher Dinelson Lamet (elbow) shelved for 2018. Meanwhile, Ross has improved on each of his three starts, most recently winning at home against the San Francisco Giants (six innings, no earned runs, five K's). Perdomo is currently not a fantasy consideration. Ross is making his case more intriguing, although he does perform much better at Petco Park than away. Both players are minimally owned in fantasy leagues.
