Luis Patino Can’t Find The Plate In Sunday’s No-Decision
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Luis Patino allowed two earned runs on two hits and five walks while striking out two across three innings during Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Minnesota Twins. He did not factor into the decision. The 21-year-old was unable to locate his pitches and walked a season-high five batters on Sunday. Patino was removed after just 69 pitches. The right-hander has walked at least three batters in three of his last five starts. He owns a 4.73 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and a 24.1K% across 45 2/3 innings in 2021. Patino will look last longer in the game in Friday's home start against the Chicago White Sox. Despite the rough outing on Sunday, fantasy managers can use Patino as a streamer in deep-league formats.
