Luis Garcia To Start Game 3 Of The ALDS
3 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Luis Garcia has been named the team's starter for Game 3 of the ALDS against the Chicago White Sox. Astros manager Dusty Baker made the announcement on Friday and also said that Jose Urquidy would probably start Game 4 of the series, if the game is needed. Garcia had a fantastic year for the Astros. He made 30 appearances (28 starts) and went 11-8 with a 3.30 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. His only start against the White Sox came in June. He pitched seven strong innings in the outing, allowing seven hits, two walks and one earned run while striking out eight.
