Luis Castillo Turns In Third Consecutive Dud Start
8 months agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Luis Castillo continued disappointing fantasy managers in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jays. Castillo pitched five innings, allowing four runs on nine hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The 31-year-old is now 0-3 with a 6.89 ERA, although he does have 18 strikeouts in 15 2/3 IP. The season is still early and Castillo has earned a long leash given his career track record, but fantasy managers were hoping for a lot more when they drafted him as an ace. Unfortunately, Castillo will have his hands full in his next projected start against a hot Cubs lineup.
