3 years agoCincinnati Reds pitcher Luis Castillo (shoulder) will return closer to the end of April, while left-hander Mike Minor (shoulder) is set to come back during the "middle of the month." On Thursday, Castillo was placed on the 10-day injured list due to a sore shoulder. The 29-year-old will play catch on Friday and throw a bullpen session over the weekend. According to Reds manager Dave Bell, Castillo is scheduled to return to the rotation at the end of April. Minor will throw a simulated game on Friday and, barring any setbacks, will return in mid-April. The southpaw was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday due to shoulder soreness. Hunter Greene and Nick Lodolo will remain in the rotation while both Minor and Castillo are sidelined.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
