Luis Castillo Racks Up Eighth Quality Start
6 months agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Luis Castillo put together another quality start in Tuesday's no-decision versus the division rival Houston Astros. Castillo fired six innings and allowed five hits, two runs, one walk and struck out six on the evening. Castillo had a couple rough starts to open the season, but he has been his dominant self throughout most of the season and remains a must-start every time that he is on the bump. On the season, Castillo is 4-6 with a 3.28 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 12 starts. Next up will be a favorable matchup versus the Los Angeles Angels. Castillo should continue to be a top option for managers moving forward.
