Luis Castillo Dominant In Monday's Start
6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo looked like his rookie-season self in Monday's 5-3 win over the White Sox. Castillo allowed one run on six hits and no walks with six strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. The 25-year-old took advantage of a favorable matchup, as this was just the first time allowing less than three runs in his last seven starts. While fantasy owners will be pleased by the recent result, Castillo has still disappointed this season, posting a 5.53 ERA over 18 starts. He will face a tougher test Sunday against the Cubs.
