Luis Arraez Reaches Base Five Times Wednesday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins infielder/outfielder Luis Arraez went 3-for-3 with a double, a run scored, and two walks in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to Cincinnati. Batting out of the cleanup spot for the fourth straight game, Arraez was an on-base machine, rapping out a trio of hits and drawing two walks. The 24-year-old now has five hits in his last two games and raised his season slash line to .310/.375/.399. The lack of power and steals certainly hurt his outlook in category formats, but his minuscule strikeout rate and 90.3 percent contact rate make him an underrated points league asset.
