Lucas Raymond Picks Up Two Power-Play Helpers
2 years agoDetroit Red Wings right wing Lucas Raymond produced two power-play assists as the team turned a 4-0 deficit into a 5-4 victory against Pittsburgh on Wednesday. He combined with Filip Hronek to set up Dylan Larkin for the goal that sparked the huge comeback and Raymond tallied another assist when David Perron made it a tie game with 3:08 to go in regulation. Jake Walman eventually won it for Detroit in overtime. Raymond was one of the best rookies in the league last season, but he's had a bit of a sophomore slump and sits on only 20 points through 33 games. Just nine of his point have come in even-strength situations, so the 20-year-old has a lot of room for improvement ahead of the second half of the season.
