Lucas Glover's putter failed him last week at the Palmetto Championship. He could not recover after an opening-round 76. Ultimately, he missed the cut. The frustrating part for Glover is this. He puts some rounds together and then there are a few holes where shots go wayward and then instantly a good round goes bad. This just has been happening too often lately. When one's putter ranks 130th (-.111 strokes gained) and then the shot-making starts to drop, that is a huge problem. Detroit does not force one to make as many shots so this may help Glover gain a little confidence. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
