3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (hamstring) exited Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners with hamstring soreness and the injury is still nagging him. While he isn't expected to require a trip to the injured list, he is being held out of the starting lineup on Friday. Raimel Tapia will be getting the start in left field and batting sixth in the game. Gurriel has yet to settle in at the plate this year. Over 37 games, he's slashing .227/.273/.333 with two home runs, 12 RBI and 13 runs. He should be considered day-to-day for now.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
