3 months agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is not in Sunday's lineup as the Diamondbacks look to complete a three-game sweep against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday afternoon. Gurriel has held a strong .361/.442/.500 line in his past ten games but will take a seat for the second time this week. As a result, Pavin Smith will get the starting nod in left field and bat in the five-hole. Smith was recalled from Triple-A Reno earlier this week but has yet to tally a hit since returning to the big leagues. Fantasy managers should expect Gurriel to return to the starting nine as they host the New York Mets on Tuesday evening. Smith should be faded in DFS this afternoon as he will face Boston right-hander Tanner Houck, who has posted a quality start in each of his past three outings.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
