5 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel was 2-for-6 with a two-run home run during a 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday night. Gurriel has been ridiculous since returning from Triple-A Buffalo on May 24. Over that span, he has a .435 average to go along with four HRs and six RBI in 23 at-bats. This exceptional performance is likely nothing more than an extended hot streak, so fantasy owners should not rush to pick Gurriel up.
