Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Goes 3-For-5 In Win
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 3-for-5 on Sunday as his club went on to lose to the Tigers 5-3 in extra-innings. He swatted a trio of singles and picked up a clutch two-out RBI in the eighth as he's seen his bat get hot lately with a .387 BA over his past 10 games. For the year, Gurriel has put together a middling season with 14 HR, 43 runs, 53 RBI and a .270 BA in 107 games while getting the majority of his at-bats in the bottom-third of the Jays order. His bat won't hurt your fantasy roster, but there's likely better options out there to ride down the stretch run.
