5 years agoBrendan Allen (14-3) has been lights-out since his victory on the Contender Series. Thus far, he's defeated talented fighters in Kevin Holland (via submission) and Tom Breese (via TKO.) Not one to let the judges make the decision, 13 of his 14 victories have come by finish. Allen has a strong takedown defense percentage of 75%. He also has a solid striking accuracy of 59%. Allen's nickname of All In is perfect for his fighting style. Allen will look to get back in the win column following his loss to Nassourdine Imavov last September at UFC Paris. Prior to that bout, Allen was on a seven-fight winning streak. 6 months agoBrendan Allen suffered a unanimous decision loss to Nassourdine Imavov in the co-main event of UFC Paris. After three rounds, all three judges scored the fight 29-28 in favor of Imavov. In his last bout, Allen defeated Chris Curtis via split decision. Before this fight, Allen was on a tear winning seven fights in a row and was looking to force his way into the top 5. In 15 minutes of action, Allen landed a takedown and 30 significant strikes. With the loss, Allen's UFC record is now 12-3.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller

6 months agoBrendan Allen will look to extend his win streak to eight when he faces off against Nassourdine Imavov in the co-main event of UFC Paris on Saturday. Allen was last seen in action back in April in the main event of UFC Vegas 90 where he defeated Christ Curtis via split decision. DraftKings has Allen as the underdog at a salary of $7,300. 12 months agoAfter a hard fought gritty battle, Brendan Allen was awarded a split decision victory over Chris Curtis in the main event of UFC Vegas 90. Allen was originally matched up with Marvin Vettori, who suffered an injury. Allen entered the bout riding a six-fight winning streak. Five of those wins came by way of submission. After five rounds, the judges scored 48-47, 47-48, 49-46. In 25 minutes of action, Allen landed six takedowns and 112 significant strikes.
